Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Town Hall

The location is fantastic and the interior design is brilliant. The room and bed was very comfortable and there were helpful amenities in the apartment such as washing machine and dryer, clothes washing liquid, dishwasher & tablets, tea towel, vanity kits in the bathroom, clothes drying rack, iron and ironing board. The gym was also well kept and had a variety of equipment to use that all worked.

The cleanliness was not up to standard at all. The sofa came apart when we used it and revealed a huge dried red wine stain with crumbs which looked like weeks old. The shower extractor was very dusty and dirty and the laundry cupboard had watermarks. The mirror and vanity table also showed dirty marks. Skirtings were very dusty and dirty. The carpet in the bedroom had an open safety pin suggesting floors weren’t being checked or cleaned regularly. The balcony also wasn’t clean with the glass balustrade dirty and an old crisp packet from a previous guest. It was also a shame that there was no outdoor furniture to use the terrace. However, when we confronted the reception team they were fantastic and escalated to the manager immediately who was also fantastic and apologised for the situation. He put us in a different room which was much cleaner (albeit there was still some attention to detail missing such as a dirty/ sticky TV remote).

Staff were superb, rooms were clean and facilities were great. Pool was lovely and the gym did the job!

Great staff and the room was really nicely appointed. Shower worked well, kitchenette was a nice to have. The decor was nice.

The room was so hot! I have to guess it was approximately 28 degrees when we arrived, this is during winter (outside temp about 17) . We talked with staff who were very nice but couldn't do much about it , they gave us a little fan. We stayed a few days and had to leave the sliding windows open which meant our room was pretty loud. It is hard to rest when it's hot and noisy
