Ramada Resort Kranjska Gora

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small but the balcony has a nice view if you have the a room looking to the back mountain. Breakfast buffet is really nice and has many healthy options like warm vegetables, lots of fruit and seed/nut options.

The rooms and bathrooms are quite small and everything is dated and feels used and not taken care of. We did not use the pool area.

The room was very basic and lacked some amenities that are normally expected nowadays. For example, there was no power outlet near the bed, which made it inconvenient to charge devices during the night. The bathroom was also rather impractical, as there was no shelf or suitable surface to place personal toiletries and belongings. While the hotel was clean and the stay was acceptable, the facilities felt old-fashioned and could benefit from modernization and some attention to detail. With a few improvements, the guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

The accommodation is located very close to the city center (about 5minutes of walking). The room we had was nice, big enough for the two of us. The fact that there was a parking space and access to the swimming pool included in the price is a nice thing. Also the included breakfast was really good.

There are a lot more things to not like than ones to be liked. First of all, you have to pay for anything else (for example, towels for the swimming pool, the sauna, bath robes for the pool) - I didn't mind paying for the sauna but it was way too much for a what it offers, keeping in mind that we were staying at the hotel. Secondly, the rooms don't have AC or even a water kettle. It's the first 4 star hotel we stayed at and it didn't have those things. We didn't need an AC because it was already cold outside, but during the summers it can get hot inside. Also, the room had weirdly positioned power outlets, none close to the bed. Thirdly, the staff wasn't the best, most of the time they seemed bored and not wanting to help. In the end, the price was way too high for what it offers, the hotel looks old and in my opinion it doesn't deserve a 4 star rating.
