Kotnik Superior Boutique Hotel

We arrived quite late by car from Ljubljana airport but the moment we arrived the staff made us feel extremely welcome and valued. We were struck by the number of people waiting for a seat in the restaurant - which is always a good sign. The room was a reasonable size and was well furnished. Breakfast was really good - the best we had during our week in Slovenia. There was plenty of choice and all of it was of excellent quality. We'd asked for a parking space at the hotel but the underground garage was full so they gave us a card to put on the dashboard that allowed us to park in the public area at street level. At first we were worried that we might not always get a space when we needed it although, perhaps with it being September, this as never a problem. W'ed thoroughly recommend the Kotnik.

Nothing really - just right

Staff were extremely friendly and responsive to anything we asked for. Buffet breakfast and dinner were delicious. Excellent location-cannot fault it.

Nothing

Location, staff and room

Nothing

The young receptionist was super helpful! The savoury part of breakfast was good especially with the fresh bread (it lacked pastries and the like). Very nice mountain view and super location.

It has no lift and we found silverfish insects in the room (one time even on the bed).
