Pavillions is my choice of hotel when I travel to Canberra due to the quieter location out of the city yet with the ease of access to the tram line right out the front. A large, secure car park is also a criteria I have although I did not use it this time around. All facilities you might need are here, from breakfast, lunch, arvo's and dinner to vending machines and room service. The staff are amazing. I was very grateful to the lady who made me a chocolate milk in the afternoons along with whatever delectable dish was available. The early morning front desk staff man on Monday was so helpful. He was genuinely concerned when my pre-booked taxi didn't arrive for 45 minutes and took matters into his own hands to help me get to the airport on time. Very grateful for the comfort of the beds, the cleanliness and the $10 cash back when you don't get the room serviced. I spent it on an arvo choccie milk. :)

Good location and has a nice bar area in the middle

The carpets and fittings need a freshen up as heavily stained and with a bad smell.
