Very pretty, clean & well designed art deco style hotel v good quality mattress overall excellence in simplicity Good location, funny area to be in, walking distance to KaDeWe etc

Fancy TV with tons of programmes, but too weak an internet to sustain it; so de facto unusable A/C only cools, doesn’t heat; and it was pretty chilly

Good location, friendly staff and clean and comfortable room

we liked the lobby! the outside of the building is nice , location is okay . the room: decor and the bathroom were nice but UNFORTUNATELY the room was not clean ! it was very very dusty stuffy and the headboard of the bed and the sides had stains ( that you end up wondering what is this 🤮 !) the airco makes noise and in such a small room gave me a headache and it wasnt even cooling the room bathroom was decent but the sink was not shinning clean when we came in so u can tell cleaning is not their thing ! Mattress was caving in and super uncomfortable the pillows were horrible. we saw two reception people the first guy ( we arrived late around 10:30pm ) was soooooo not welcoming almost rude , even though he had really nothing to do . Our last morning this guy was there again and he walked so fast passing us and slammed a door as he was walking while we were trying to push our carry ons he let go of the door that almost hit my husband in the face ! such an unpleasent person The second day the afternoon guy was very friendly accomodating , it was the afternoon after the berlin marathon and he tried to help me finding something ice cold to put on my aching foort since they did not have ice ( to make an ice pack) this tall guy was friendly and smart ! nothing compare to the night guy

the night reception guy was not a welcoming person the lack of ambiance (in such a nice reception area is a waste oppotunity! )( they should have like welcoming music or something !the space is nicely decorated etc but lacks a good vibe the room : the mattress concaving in so uncomfortable feels OLD the pillows terrible OLD and how DUSTY it was (so obviously not clean!) the mirror was soooo dusty ! bathroom was not too clean (or shinning clean as u would expect when u just arrive in the room )but the most disgusting thing is to see STAINS on the headboard and the side of the bed … they should clean that upholstery !!!! couldnot tell if it was a coffee stain or what (!!!!🤮)….. and funny enough i saw the same review preview to our arrival i was reading reviews and someone pointed out about stains on the bed !
