Crowne Plaza Berlin City Centre Ku'damm by IHG

Excellent hotel, great location, good price, and a delicious breakfast. The hotel is always clean, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Every time I visit Berlin, I always stay at this hotel because, in my opinion, it is the best hotel in the area. Highly recommended!

It’s comfortable and very good location

Modern and the staff are amazing in the evening the bar by the lobby has a great vibe a lot of shopping Centers are around the area

The proximity to shops, restaurants and transportation was very good.

I did speak to a member of reception staff on my second day. After returning from a tour my partner and I came to the entry of our room, to discover a man outside our room, another holding our door open and two other men inside our room. I confronted a receptionist with my concerns, I was angry and upset that there were 4 men in our room. Of course she apologised in the usual manner that reception staff do, means nothing. What I was trying to relay to this person is I don’t want an apology. I understand that maintenance needs to be performed. Management is aware of their maintenance schedule and if that schedule impacts a guest, and I reinterate “a guest”, of the hotel it is the obligation of management to inform their guest of that disruption. Just a note under the door the night before scheduled maintenance would be the correct procedure. It’s always best to give the information before an intrusion.

Location and breakfast were very good

The tap in the bathroom leaked constantly. The gap between the shower screen and bath meant water constantly puddled outside the tub. We did report the tap to maintenance but didn’t hear anything back. The window in the bedroom also rattled a lot during high winds.
