Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Room was lovely with proper amenities expected for this level of accommodations. Location was central to many local sights we intended to visit. Having stayed here before, I knew the proximity. Front desk staff was very helpful, knowledgable, and pleasant to deal with. Room was serviced with professional attention to detail. Available extra spa services were thoroughly enjoyable. Wonderful above expectation breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices to satisfy any palate.

Room was advertised as having a view of the adjacent church. It did, but also overlooked the lower hotel rooftop with cooling equipment. Perhaps this room on a higher floor in the tower would have been preferable. Also, the Kaiser Wilhelm church next door had recently been closed indefinitely for repairs, one of the main reasons we wanted to visit and stay at the Waldorf. Disappointing we did not have any indication ahead of time. The least recommended portion of our stay was dinner at ROCA, the adjacent restaurant. Overpriced, average cuisine, lackluster service. Not up to the standards of the rest of our experience at the Waldorf. Much better food at nearby local restaurants.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, well kept, staff are friendly and helpful and the location is as good as it gets in Berlin

Komfortowy pokój .Duży i naprawdę wygodny.
