Taj Lake Palace Udaipur

Out of the world!’ Being transported into this ‘heaven on land in water’ had to be an incredible, unforgettable and hitherto unmatched experience, right? It was! The magical palace floating on the lake mesmerised us as our boat approached it from the ghat; the regal history, Taj’s painstaking restoration over half a century, impeccable service, world class restaurants serving food of the highest quality, presented with perfection—all had their place in making it a trip for the ages. We can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay memorable. Many unnamed, and some named people stood out—Pradeep, Yuvraj, Anoop and Vijay at Neel Kamal, and Dinesh the gardener. We’ll be back!

Steep rates(but understandable for the kind of property it is).

We loved every moment of our stay there particularly our arrival at it when we were welcomed with royal umbrellas & showers of rose petals & our September 1 morning felicitation on front terrace with the hotel state & the mega 64th wedding anniversary cake they brought for us to jointly cut

In the cultural show there was no light on the musicians as as all the light was focused on the dancers. This should be corrected

Breakfast is excellent, as is the wonderful, loving staff and location

We found the Rajasthani thali and Laal Maas crazily overpriced.
