Jagat Niwas Palace

The place is beautiful and by the lake. Staff at the restaurant is very good and take good care of you.

No cars go up to the hotel. Also the hotel rents out the place for photography to the outside public, so the entire day you have people and camera guys all around the property, outside your room and the place becomes very noisy and chaotic. The residents don't get any solitude or can't enjoy the beautiful property and its window seating.

My room was stunning - located right on the lake with windows that opened to the breeze. The room was a good size and beautifully furnished. Lovely public dining area for breakfast. Stunning pool. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful! Staff were all very helpful in CV luring arranging a driver to take us to Mount Abu.

Rooms were comfortable. Location was great.

It was impossible to get in touch with the hotel. Calls were rarely answered. Booking was not smooth. The hotel was unable to take payment from any of my credit cards which was stressful. It was difficult to get in touch with anyone to confirm pick up from parking. No one responded to emails. We chose the hotel to enjoy views from the terrace and restaurant. Except this was full of tourists taking pictures at every window. No one was eating or having drinks. It was not a nice ambiance. Packed breakfast was very disappointing.
