Central location for Salisbury

Lovely hotel - Decor, comfy beds, clean, good location

Staff could be more welcoming; hospitality tray was very poorly stocked; lovely bath towel each but none for hair washing ; great shower but random decreases and increases in temperature. Felt like a lot of money for the bare minimum.

The room was spacious and the bedding was clean and tidy. The towels were soft and the soap/shampoo/lotion smelt lovely.

The he walls in the room were very thin, you can hear conversations and coughing throughout the night. There was a stain on the carpet next to the bed.

Overall the hotel is good with decent quality in all parts. close to city centre so no need for a taxi. Breakfast was very good, bed was comfortable and the level of equipment was as expected.

The room was cold with no ability to alter the temperature, the hot water was just over 'warm' and the water pressure was a dribble so definitely not at the 4 star level. at 8am the housekeeping staff were moving what sounded like a lot of buckets (this was a Sunday morning) and tried to access the room without any knock or announcement. This was a particular concern and would be frightening for a lone female guest (we were a couple).
