Friendly front-of-house staff member who gave some nice dinner recommendations and advised against visiting the "tourist trap" restaurants. Secure room, well presented and generally clean. Good location and proximity to the town centre.

Only 1 small bottle each of shampoo and conditioner provided despite 2 of us, no shower gel provided - usually the bare minimum expected. Some staining on bedsheets and bath robes. Room 200: Front door is essentially a very large French door which looks into the entire room. Additional netted curtain or a wider curtain rail would be advised for extra privacy and to prevent gaps. Bathroom: black mould in tile grouting and all around bathtub silicone. Mould on the ceiling. Celling height 1 inch above my head (I'm 6'2") - not the most comfortable. Guest movements audible from upstairs room - gets quite loud.

breakfast - there was a great selection and the host was accommodating to dietery requirements. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The dust.. Dust on the bed head the top of the cupboard was and is covered in dust. I'm an asthmatic and it was awful for me. The shower grouting is mouldy. The rooms need a really good clean For the $$ charged ,not worth it

Large room and access to outside space

Room was tired and needed renovation. Carpet needed a thorough clean or replacing, shower room was small, all silicone sealant had black mould, especially bad around base of wash basin. Daily cleaning was inadequate, eg an empty toiletry bottle was on shower shelf when we arrived and still there 3 days later. Couldn't close shower room door as it would jam and require a good shoulder shove to shift it, reported this, action promised but never happened. Hot water from shower was dangerously hot and adjuster wouldn't respond, reported.
