As my friend is vegan the breakfast choices were ideal.
Staff were very friendly & as there is no lift they happily carried our bags up and down the stairs for us.
We would happily stay again.
There could have been more or different choices for vegetarian/vegan on the menu.
We ate before we came as the choice was cauliflower steak & the price seemed a bit steep when compared with what the price is for an actual beef steak.
Could do with a bit of colour in the rooms too neutral for me but not uncommon for a hotel.
Some parts of the hotel looked.

Great food, lovely room
Limited walking straight from hotel but only short drive to Berwick

Room was large and clean
Being directed round back of building for car park then having to walk around what is the wedding venue to find reception

Great location
Rooms ready for refurbishing and dogs allowed in restaurant for breakfast which is not hygienic
