Elounda Bay Palace, a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World

We had a very pleasant stay at Elounda Bay. Our suite was comfortable and spacious, with a large bathroom and a beautiful view over the sea. The overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing, which we really appreciated. The hotel seems to attract mostly couples and older guests, so it is peaceful rather than a place for loud or party-focused crowds. There are plenty of facilities, including tennis, padel and a gym. You can also walk into the centre of Elounda, and we enjoyed walking through the grounds to the neighbouring sister hotel as well, which is the more luxurious of the two properties.

The only downside for us was the price. We felt it was quite steep considering we were staying on the Bay side, which is the less luxurious of the two hotels. We still paid a substantial amount, so in that respect the value for money could have been a little better. Overall though, we had a lovely and very relaxing stay.
