Clean and comfortable - great breakfast
Didnt offer water in room. Obviously was a converted halls of residence so it was a bit characterless

Quiet and peaceful, in the campus but not noisy and busy area at all. Amazing surroundings, easy access to the public bus and only ten minutes ride from the center of the city. The personnel was amazingly polite and helpful but also very friendly and approachable. Great room, great bathroom and generally I would choose and recommend it by all means. Thank you for your hospitality!

A fairly new hotel, set up inside Edinburgh Uni's accommodation (!). The staff were generally kind and courteous; there's a bar and a decent breakfast (though we had several errors with some of our orders). The location is wonderful for those planning to hike Arthur's Seat, but a bus away from the Royal Mile and the Castle. Clean, good WiFi
If you are not seeking to hike, this is a bit far away. Beyond that, the room is really quite small, especially for anything bigger than a couple. Furthermore, when we asked to switch rooms to support our 2 YO baby's sleep, there was no alternative. The bed was supposed to be a Double bed, but was in fact a twin bed, which also was a bit of a drag.
