Very relaxing. Room was lovely and a great size. Pub had a good atmosphere at night for drinks. Location was lovely next to the canal but it does take over an hour to walk to the town centre.
We paid for dinner on first night. Food was very basic and extremely overpriced for what it was.

The breakfast was superb quality and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

A very pleasant surprise. A great location very close to Chester City centre, located by the canal that leads to the city. A very tasty dinner in the pub - quite comfortable and charming.
Upstairs rooms are by stairs only. If a mobility issue you should check with the staff.

Loved the location.
The room was very small with nowhere comfortable to sit and nowhere to put clothes.
