We stay at the Stag and Huntsman to break our journey from Exmoor to my daughters in Cambridge. Hambledon is the most beautiful Chiltern village and the accommodation is superb.
Our room, "black bush",whilst being comfortable was not as special as previous rooms we have stayed in.

Great location, beautiful village, attractive externally, well equipped
The furniture and decorations are tired and shabby. Only one decent sized cup in the kitchen. It needs some money spending on it - repainting, new carpets etc
