Well situated for what I wanted. Private, and the parking in the pub car park is roomy and convenient.
The room really is very small. Probably OK if you're eating out and doing trips. Trying to find space to organise kit, and trying to cook was a bit challenging. But it does say "small", it is what it is. Basin in the bathroom didn't drain because the plughole is gunked up.

It’s was in pure rural England. Friendly, cooperative hosts and next door to genuine country pub.

The garden is very good especially with kids having a place to play. The beds are comfortable and clean. The location is excellent and quiet and the parking is plenty. Carol the host was welcoming giving us plenty of information about the area.
The shower needs to be replaced with a stronger one especially with 4 people staying at the log cabin.
