A little Oasis, beautifully kept house and gardens.
We stayed in outside room near the pool.
Excellent breakfast with the beast coffee and choice of eggs.
The owner was very friendly and we appreciated the honesty bar fridge!
Bed was a little uncomfortable, an older style

Excellent location in Régua. The property is family owned and occupied. They were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size, the beds comfy and the views amazing. It was very much a traditional Portuguese style family home, which is just what we were looking for in the area. It was up one of the steeper hills, but it’s the Douro Valley so to be expected. Not suitable for those with mobility issues, unless you are happy getting around by car.
We have no complaints at all! 🙌🏻

The view is great looking over the town and the river.
Everything was clean.
Bed too high; bedding not suitable for the cold weather. Had to add a blanket that was very large and heavy to manage.
No refrigerator in room.
Restaurants not close. Unable to get Uber back to property.
Host not available when checking out. Had to be woken up.
