It was cozy, clean, and in a great neighborhood right by the church. Our host was very helpful and nice. I loved the nespresso coffee and they even had milk in the fridge for us. We were supposed to be in the loft suite but there was a maintenance issue, so they moved us to the family suite and then we had the whole first floor to ourselves for the last night. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

The owner reached out to us before we even left home to assure we would have a smooth journey. He explained the best way to get from the airport to the guesthouse. While we were there he helped us to make reservations for the commute back to the airport. He also gave great tips on local attractions, restaurants, culture etc. The location was perfect; a five minute walk to the bus stop for tours, and also five minute walk to downtown.

This is a two-minute walk from the stunning cathedral that can be seen from nearly everywhere in town, making it incredibly easy to find our way back to our rooms after wandering around. The rooms had plenty of space for us and our luggage and clothes. There were many bus stops nearby, which we used to get everywhere we wanted to go.
After the first use of the shower, everything smelled like sulfur and the smell lasted the entire stay. (I know there's nothing that can be done about this - it's just a feature of the water in Reykjavik.)
