Beautifully decorated rooms …

The initial welcome was cold but everyone else was a delight

Water pressure, luggage storage, curtains, dinner/delicious, staff were so helpful, lounge, complimentary water bottles, breakfast was yum

Parking. Clarity about what was long term. Some noise on the staff level with them coming and going in room 15

Our stay was excellent. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had dinner the night we arrived and breakfast the following day - both were superb.

Although it couldn't be helped, parking the car was a bit of an issue as it was an extra expense and the public car park, which had plenty of room, was frequented by people who had a lot to drink and were making their way to the train station, running alongside the car park. We felt that our car might possibly have been broken into, so we were lucky to find a spot behind the back of the pub later that night, which was quieter. We only really found out that the car parking was not part of the place after we had booked, with a no-cancellation policy.

Lovely. Rather quirky. Clean.

Nil. Good Bert poor. Survey asks no good question: dinner dreadful. Sent it back the I was ignored. Menu far too ambitious and over complicated. Breakfast disappointing too. Bar service.. three of 5 pints excellent. But two badly poured.
