Excellent turn down service with change of bath towels and complimentary chocolates. Very helpful staff at door for help in facilitating taxi service especially on departure. Staff helped with tickets to La Sagrada Familia. Abundant complimentary water.

Almost impossible to modify thermostate. Room temperature exceptionally cold and couldn't easily modify it until the last day. Toilet hard to flush. Could not get cork out of complimentary bottle of wine; corkscrew not adequate for that job.

Historia hotelu , położenie i /w większości / obsługa, dobre jedzenie, pomoc w organizacji turystycznych atrakcji. Czystość.

Basen na dachu sprytnie sfotografowany jako duży , a w rzeczywistości to większa „wanna”. Mroczny apartament , bez dobrego oświetlenia , brak klamek do wszystkich okien balkoników , które są wielkości ławeczki w parku. Czyli niemożność wywietrzenia apt nie przez A/C, itp.

We had a junior suite which had plenty of space and after a room change had room 409 which has awesome views from its window/balcony down Passeig de Gracia (trendy up-market main street) and the Med in the far distance. (Make sure you ask for that one as our original room did not have views of significance). Its well located right on the edge of the cool Gracia barrio for tons of tapas / bars options as well as easy access to metro for other areas of Barca. Sagrada Familia is easy walking distance. Very swish roof top terrace with bar and small pool.

The grand old dame is getting a bit tired, and we had a very unpleasant experience with a plumbing problem that required a room change. Strangely, the staff were not pro-active (in moving us) and it seemed like this was a common issue... we moved rooms only after demanding a different room.

The location is excellent and the bars were really nice

I didn’t like that they didn’t give us access to the terrace unless we specifically requested it, which I had to do 3 times before someone came up to provide the key.
