Edgar Townhouse

Location was superb. Literally 10 minute walk to the abbey, baths, shops, restaurants. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Can tell good quality meat for sausage and bacon, all very fresh and plentiful.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. What looked like mold on shower wall actually rubber off easily, although I only rubbed one or two spots. Looked like dirty cloth used in sink and residue / bits left on edge, easily wiped off with tissue. 2 hairs on sink and one on top if bed. Although bed linen was crisp and clean so presuming this may have been the cleaners. We booked rhe last room available and it was a small double. Bed was very comfy but too small for us. This wasn't the hotels fault, next time we would book further ahead and choose one of the rooms with a larger bed.

Beautiful location in Pulteney Street.

Location…. 5 to 10 minute walk from the Abbey over Pulteney bridge. Also a beautiful building.

Let us leave our bags for the day before returning home

Seagull situation outside window, lots of poop, mother bird screeched every time we went near the window and very big chicks pecking on window and calling for food from 4am, not much sleep got. In their defence I understand there is not a lot they can do about the seagulls. Would definitely go again out of seagull season.
