Grand Hotel Belvedere, a Beaumier Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel - the rooms, comfortable beds, standard of food and innovative cocktails .... but most importantly, ALL of the staff who were just so lovely without exception. Thank you!!

The hotel and its grounds match the landscape in terms of beauty. Elegant but not stuffy. The restaurant is good, but the bar and wine program stand out. Niko, the sommelier, made the experience extra special. I'd love to return.

the location is excellent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

We were put in a small room in an outbuilding, a long uphill walk and many steps from the main building. The room was dirty - stained carpet, animal or human hair all over the loveseat, an absolutely filthy, mildewy shower curtain (a 5 star hotel should never have a shower curtain, but at least it should be clean), and when we put our wet bath towels on the floor expecting them to be replaced with clean ones, they simply folded the wet towels from the floor and hung them back on the rack. Again, not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Staff was disinterested at times, rude or condensing at other times. Not worth the $800 (before tax) we paid per night.
