Hotel Oberland

Maia at the front desk was wonderful—warm, attentive, and always looking after her guests. She even called us several times before our arrival to make sure we knew the hotel closed at 10 p.m. and found a way to ensure we would not be locked out. Excellent location, very welcoming atmosphere, and truly caring service. Maia made our stay feel especially warm and personal.

Perfect location!

The location of the hotel is wonderful - our room was across the main building, above a store, but the view from our balcony was amazing! We could see the waterfall running down the mountain rock and it was spectacular! The room was very clean with all the necessary equipment. Jenny from the staff was so sweet, helpful and kind! The breakfast was a decent one, having all the basics and the coffee was also good. We could go to the train station on foot in just 5 minutes and visit the mountain waterfall from the inside in just 10'!

The room was simple but clean. The bathroom was a little small and you had to be careful not to splash water outside the bathtub, because the shower door could be moved away quite easily. More towel hangers would be very practical especially for a family of 4 members. The only thing I would change in the room is the pillows- they were very a normally flat or uneven and my neck would complain every morning after waking up.

The location was excellent as well as car parking right across the street. The bed was comfortable and the washroom was spotless. Everyone from the front desk to the room attendants and restaurant staff were exceptional. The room was quiet with a beautiful view!

The decor and feel of the room in the annex was that of a dormitory. The decor needs to be spruced up and make it feel more Swiss! There is a glaring lack of electrical outlets on the room and the ones that are there barely held an item plugged in - they have loosened with age.

Bathroom was tiny.
