Hantang Inn Hostel Xi'an

Hands down the best place we stayed in China. The room was compact (as most rooms are) but had lovely features such as a projector for the tv, Appelles toiletries and a Japanese toilet. The breakfast offering is good and you could take soft drinks and fruit throughout the day. The pub19 across the road is part of the hotel and you get a free drink per person per night of stay which is such a generous touch. There is a quiet tea area on the fourth floor with such a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel plays really cool music which sets a good ambience and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Wish we had stayed for longer - no faults with the hotel The road is quiet narrow and easy to miss if you don’t have amap BUT the hotel do provide you with a comprehensive guide of how for find it and a paper map with great food recommendations on it.

It was my second time at the Hantang Inn and again it did not disappoint me. The room is super comfortable and clean. The breakfast was actually better than a year ago and I really enjoyed the common areas chatting to other travellers. And the staff are great if you need any help.

The property was comfortable with great amenities and close to the subway and central Xi’an. The stay included a cooked breakfast plus a complimentary daily espresso Coffee or matcha and drink at the bar across the street!

The only complaint was a night light with a sensor that kept turning on through the night. I covered it.

The attention to detail throughout the place, the vibe was immaculate, free coffee and wine. Overall was incredibly relaxing and I would recommend it to everyone. Probably my favourite accommodation in China
