Capsule Hotel Nyhavn63

Great location, right on the Nyhavn waterfront, 20min walk to main attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby and souvenir stores. Safe for a solo female traveller. Has a nice bar/cafe area. Was nice to have a room to myself (booked as a double, not a capsule). Communal shower area kept clean.

If you keep the window closed there is a bad smell from the bathroom. There was also an odd musty smell when I checked in. Unable to work the radiator/heater. Mattress very thin so woke up with a sore back. Double room had a toilet but no shower. Can be noisy facing the courtyard if people are about in the evening. No lift. An app is required on your phone to connect with Bluetooth to act as your key to the room door. Took multiple tries to open the door with it sometimes.

It provided everything you needed! While also being on the most beautiful and local road! In the capsule there was also a long mirror that also had a small stand that you could put some belongings. Very convenient!

The fan in the capsule we stayed in didn’t work and we woke up multiple times sweating and feeling uncomfortably drenched. The lights were also flickering and very dim. The charging ports were also laggy but we appreciated them! We also found that on the bedding there was some red/brown stains scattered.

Absolutely perfect location, lovely staff and the place was clean and smart.

Other people staying there were slightly obnoxious, the pods could be more sound proof but that isn’t the fault of the property

Przede wszystkim duchota, nie dało się normalnie tam spać i oddychać, trzeba było otwierać kabinę żeby naleciało powietrze. Na ochraniaczu na materacu zobaczyłam małą plamkę krwi, była to już zaschnięta plama, ale uważam że nie wypada zostawiać takiej dość nie przyjemnej niespodzianki. Minusem również są zasady w hotelu, ja rozumiem że obiekt nie odpowiada za wieśniaków, ale wydaje mi się że powinny być jakieś odgórne zasady że po godzinie 00 nie ma wstępu do kapsuł, bo niestety bardzo mocno zakłóca to sen.
