Moonshine Studios Lagos

We had an amazing 7-night stay as a group of six while attending a wedding in Lagos. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable, with beautiful hilltop views and a really peaceful, secluded setting. We had the entire upper section of the villa and really enjoyed our stay. Our host was fantastic — incredibly responsive over WhatsApp, helpful throughout and very accommodating. She even allowed us a later checkout on our final day, which made things much easier for our group. We had a car which made getting around very easy, and although the outdoor area is shared with the downstairs guests, this was never an issue and we had a lovely experience overall.

The only thing we really missed was air conditioning. Portugal was particularly hot during our stay, so the rooms could get quite warm at times. Fans were provided though, and we found that opening the windows and positioning the fan to draw in the cooler outside air helped a lot. This was only a minor drawback compared with an otherwise excellent stay.

Nice spacious villa, main bedroom and en-suite are lovely, location was fine for us because we had a car. Outside space and pool area is lovely.

Bed in 2nd bedroom was not comfortable and for us we found the stairs to upstairs bedroom precarious. Freezer did not work. It was exceptionally hot while we were there so we missed having any air con or fans.

Everything is very nice and comfortable feels like home hosts are very responsive when you text them they reply fast, one of best holidays. Stayed with children and hired a car, was easy to get everywhere. Best experience can recommend!

The property felt safe and secure because it is in a walled plot. A small, but very pleasant pool area. Safe for children.

A bit of a walk out of Lagos centre to get to. Never met the owners, so couldn't let them know about lights not working in the apartment. A bit impersonal really. Starting to need redecorating and some tlc.
