Shinjuku East Hotel

The check-in was possible also in a very late hour, which really helped us because we arrived late to the area. The room is very big and comfortable. Staying at this place was a particularly pleasant and inviting experience. The meticulous, clean design created a sense of calm and tranquility throughout the stay.

The rooms on the 1st floor is close to the staff rooms that was a little bit noisy.

Amazing location - super close to the clubs and nearby activities. The staff members were kind and it’s a larger space and cheaper than pretty much any of the other hotels nearby. The amenities like coffee, teas, soaps and sponges were awesome. The shower area was huge and it had a large tub with jets. They held our luggage for us while we were out, which was really great.

Not really a bad thing unless you have kids, but it’s definitely located in the center of the red light district and it’s a bit hard to find. It’s a fully smoking-allowed hotel, so it does smell like smoke but honestly I didn’t think it was that bad. There is a lack of outlets. There was a single outlet in the living room for the TV and one in the bathroom, but the bedroom didn’t have any, which kind of sucked since we couldn’t charge everything that we needed to at one time. Not ADA friendly - there is an elevator, but there’s a narrow entry way and you are required to go up stairs to enter the building. It also didn’t seem like the room was very clean.

Great location, parking, and value.

Beds were not so comfortable.

Although the room is old, it’s still fairly clean.

The location is quite far from Shinjuku Station, it’s hard to find, and the first floor is dirty.
