The location was dreamy! Perfect for an Italian getaway! Quaint street, quiet and safe. A quick walk to everything! The room was spacious, beds were so comfy, and they went above and beyond providing a cariety of food in the kitchen.
Our bedroom was right next to the kitchen, so if you like to sleep in and the guests in the other room are early birds, you will likely be getting up earlier than you'd like. Not a problem for us but something to be aware of.

location to piazza campo shopping and restaurants. excellent homemade cakes and cookies as well as yogurt cheese and meat in fridge great communication from Mauritzo

The location was excellent to explore Sienna’s attractions. A few steps down to the escalator to reach the cathedral, a short walk up the street to the main Piezza and the rear of the town. Everything is close by. Bed was comfortable, room had what we needed. 3 steps up to the bathroom, and three steps up to the shared kitchen and dining area. It was shared, but we didn’t see anyone else while we were there. Maurizio was a great host providing all the information we needed for our visit. Rated lower because of the festival
The BIG negative was when we were there, down the street they held a neighborhood award for winning the horse race in July which was two nights of loud music from 10-2am. It was a private event, and made it impossible to sleep. Very unfortunate timing on our part.
