Roomzzz Chester City

Everything! The hotel was close to the racecourse, where the Chester Metric Marathon was starting. Very clean, staff were lovely. Coffee available from the machine all day. Croissants available in the morning for breakfast. Value for money!

We always get a parking space, but at an extra price of £15 per day. But we know that it's hard to park in Chester.

The location

Phone signal was poor

Roomzzz really exceeded my expectations. On arrival and throughout my stay, the staff were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to check that all was ok. I'd booked a penthouse room, which was a great price. My suite was extremely clean and comfortable, with a great balcony overlooking the racecourse, living space, bedroom, large bathroom and kitchen area. It was really great to have more space than a traditional hotel room. The kitchen was more than adequate, modern and functional with a small dining table and chairs. There were cleaning products for washing up and using the dishwasher. Also tea, coffee etc provided in the room. There were also a few other snacks provided which was totally unexpected. A really lovely touch is the coffee machine provided in reception and the morning croissants which are really tasty. The bed was so comfy and the room very dark and quiet despite its proximity to the road - a good night's sleep. Overall, Roomzzz offers a really cost effective stay in Chester, on the doorstep of the racecourse. I would highly recommend it and will return again.

Nothing - everything was exceptional.
