Marrakesh Apartments

Pool and surrounds were very relaxing. Our apartment was very good, lovely view over palms, and onward to parts of the city, highrise etc. Very close to Beach walks, close to a large bowling club, close to the tram that takes you the lenght fo the coast. also quite within the complex

Liked all that was presented.

Too far to get to the pool so we didn’t use it

So much to like - the living spaces in the apartment have clearly been renovated and to a high standard. Large smart screen tv and great appliances. The pool and organic cafe are exceptional - heated outdoor pool and spa. 5 min drive to Broadbeach (slightly too far to walk). Beach is walking. Secure underground parking. Spotlessly clean everywhere.

The bathroom has not been renovated and if you have mobility issues the over bath shower is a high climb into it. Only 1 sachet of dishwashing detergent, dishwasher detergent and 1 toilet roll - for a 6 day stay (with a little note telling you to find a shop). No servicing of apartment for our 6 day stay - not a massive deal but odd. I did manage to lock us out of the apartment on day 1 and the staff on the intercom demanded a $100 cash call out fee to come let us back in!!! The indoor pool and gym are currently out of order (OCT 26) and this has not been communicated to us - the outdoor pool was fine.

Clean property. Friendly lady at check-in.

Parking a real problem. Residents at Marrakesh act like “parking Karens” in underground car park. They need to sort out Residents vs non-Residents parking as it gets very confusing and unpleasant.
