Location was excellent, central yet quiet. Building is lovely and lower ground floor dining room lounge and bar exceeded expectations.
Our room was modest in size with little storage but despite this we were very comfortable for a short stay.

Breakfast was very good.
Poor value for money. We stayed for 2 nights and had 1 small tube of shower gel to last 2 days. The alternative was to pay an extra £20 room service charge. Ridiculous penny-pinching. The hotel was short staffed, nobody on reception on our first morning, and only 1 person serving breakfast. Our car was broken into overnight and most of its contents were stolen.
