Amsterdam Hotel

I stayed for two nights in early October 2026. It was a good, reasonably priced hotel with really friendly staff. The location is excellent, with a metro station and buses nearby. My room was ready early at no extra cost, and I was also able to check out an hour late for free. Additionally, I was allowed to leave my small bag in storage at no charge. Many thanks to the lovely staff for this. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. The location is perfect, right next to Earl’s Court station and only a 30 min tube ride from Heathrow. I’ve tried many budget hotels in this area, and this was by far the best experience I had, both comfort wise and the hospitality of the staff.

You get what you pay for, theres not anything I would particularly complain about

Quiet den in Earls Court very basic but price to suit. Everything comfortable and Smart TV channels, shower etc all worked very well and tea, coffee, milk provided too

Obtaining the check in details was hard work for a last minute booking

The location of the hotel is very great which made it easy to reach other parts of London and even to get to and to go to the airport. The staff were also lovely and ready to help, which included holding our luggage after we checked out since our flight back was at a later time.

However, the room itself was very small, and smelt somewhat funny. Cleanliness-wise, it wasn't the greatest either. We had 2 beds in the room, and one of the duvets on the bed as well as the bed was dirty/was stained, so much so that who was sleeping on the bed preferred to feel cold during the night, rather than get under the sheets. The other bed was fine. Also, close to the bathroom, there was a nail sticking out from underneath the fitted carpet which I stepped upon by accident as I was not aware of it. Thankfully, the carpet prevented it from going through my skin, however it still hurt. In addition, there was a black chair in the room which had white stuff all over it, which we were not sure what it was so we just avoided using it.
