Filario Hotel & Residences

Honestly, this has been, hands down, one of the best days of the past few years. The place is just magical. The quality of the room is way above average, and every request was welcomed with a smile. Especially the owner, Alessandro, went a very long way in helping us with a boat rental and arranging something special for my romantic dinner with my wife.

Nothing

Nice quiet location. Lake views, pool and AMAZING reception/concierge.

The 2 bed villa was spacious and had the amenities stated but the furnishings were cheap/ budget quality which was disappointing and I had expected more based on the photos. Also disappointing that there was no bar in the evening past 6pm.

Lovely hotel with great views. Loved the 'beach' area by the lake and the swimming pool. Room really comfortable and nice extras

Staff a little bit pushy suggesting expensive taxi usage - we walked and used the ferries and buses which as long as you were organised in terms of timing worked well

Really nice and modern hotel right in front of the lake, with large rooms and spacious bathrooms, very comfortable beds and lovely terraces with amazing views over the lake. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

When you’re paying around €700 per night, I think you naturally expect some small details to be included, like not having to pay extra for an omelette or poached eggs at breakfast. The sun loungers by the pool could also have some cushions to make them a bit more comfortable, rather than having to lie directly on the mesh. We also found the restaurant prices quite high. Paying around €20 for a pizza feels a little excessive when there are other places just next to the hotel where you can have a really good pizza for around €10, with incredible views over the lake. So overall, considering the price and the level of the hotel, I think these are some areas where the experience could definitely be improved.
