Hotel Bonn City

A nice, modern, small hotel that is well located for a stay in Bonn. The staff is very friendly, helpful and spoke fluent English. The rooms are not large, but clean and quiet with comfortable beds, new bathrooms, good air conditioning (that was quite enjoyable in the hot August weather), and included a reasonable breakfast. The hotel is located on the edge of the central city and near the Rhine. It is just a 10 min walk from the train station, close to good restaurants and shopping, and we could enjoy an early morning run along the river. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. The common room had good WiFi, a small fridge, and was a nice place to relax. Hotel Bonn City is not fancy but a really good value for the money, and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything was fine

Clean room. Very helpful and pleasant staff on reception and in breakfast room. Breakfast was good.

Lack of pillows. But extra one on request.

Great location, clean updated rooms.

Aircond was a little loud and dated

The breakfast was good enough for a very decent price.

On an extremely hot day, they didn't turn on the a/c for my arrival and the room was very hot. I needed 2h to cool it down to an acceptable temperature. The in-room a/c was just next to the bed; it was difficult to sleep well...
