Absalon Hotel

Location was great! Close to the train station, and Tivoli Gardens. Within walking distance to almost everything you want to see in Copenhagen. Room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had lots of options.

The location of this hotel is amazing and I cannot fault but the rest of the stay did not live up to my experience that I had had before. As I have stayed in this hotel 3 years ago and it really has fallen short.

I booked a standard double room and was given a really small room at the end of a corridor. I could not even fold out the luggage support fully as the bed was in the way. Also the toilet was so crampt you had to get into the bath to close the bathroom door without slamming it into yourself. The beds were also 2 singles and were regularly sliding apart. There was a hair in the egg breakfast on the first day and as a solo traveller I felt like the I was taken advantage of and a couple wouldnt have had the same situation. I really would not recommend this stay for the price, it really fell short.
