Lovely breakfast - bed very comfortable

Very comfortable room and bed, the staff were very helpful and made up the sofa bed as the room only had a double bed and as friends we preferred individual beds so that was excellent.
Good sized room.
Didn't have breakfast so cant comment but did walk through and there looked to be an excellent choice of food available.
Parking was available in nearby car park and we had to register on booking in- great.
Sadly the toilet didn't flush properly, but we mentioned to the reception and they immediately took measures to sort it and put it right, but as we only stayed one night this was a benefit to us.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was clean, tidy and welcoming.
It could do with a bit of a refresh, as it is run down.
When we arrived they had no electricity, which was through no fault of there own. But it affected the whole weekend and so we had no hot water for a shower.

Location very good
Property very tired. Room not very clean. Door frames dirty dust and cobwebs on walls. Bath enamel lifting , bathroom sink has plug stuck so unable to use. No choice on pillows so very hard. Room very hot as window only slightly opens. No fan in room. Breakfast absolutely appalling overcooked items and cold. Service extremely slow, general quality of food items very poor.
Glad it was only a one night stay
Very disappointed with the whole experience.
