The location was excellent, right in the heart of Cologne and only a few steps from the Cathedral (Dom). Most of the city's main attractions, restaurants, shops, and the central train station were within easy walking distance, making it very convenient for both sightseeing and business travel. The hotel served as a great base for exploring the city without the need for additional transportation.

The room was disappointing for the price paid. The room cost €285.60 for one night, yet it had a single bed and was extremely small, with very limited space to move around, more comparable to a budget hotel such as Ibis. I felt that I was paying primarily for the excellent location rather than for comfort. In addition, the shower leaked water across the bathroom floor, which was inconvenient and detracted from the overall experience. The breakfast was acceptable, but it lacked the special touches, variety, and local specialties that many tourists expect when traveling. It felt more like a standard business hotel breakfast than a leisure or holiday experience.
