The comfort and tranquility of the property. The place is really quite and noise free. It is well maintained and receptionists are exceptional and super helpful

I liked the spaciousness, the individuality / uniqueness and the characterful nature that the centuries have given it, the library, the pool, the staff, the setting (in olive grove), the views, the quietness. And the bus service in & out of town is excellent.
Thus relates more the booking.com than it does to Le Meridiane.
I am determined not to use booking.com any more because of its complicity in (illegal) Israeli expansionism. I have cancelled a booking I made (in Belfast) - and I will use other sites to make future bookings.

The place is much bigger than I expected, very clean. There is a path behind the apartment to the old city which is very convenient. The staff is very friendly.
The swimming pool is not very clean.

The staff are the best thing about this property. Ever smiling, helpful and efficient, I loved them. The apartment was spotlessly clean, was well furnished and had a lovely view.
If you are a writer looking for solitude this is the perfect place. Otherwise the location is inconvenient for tourists and those on business. The property is in a posh residential area at the top of a hill. It is connected to Piazza del Campo by a single bus which comes by every 30 min. You need to go into town for everything including buying groceries for cooking and/or food. If you dine out you must finish by 8.30 p.m. and be at the bus stop by 8.40 p.m. when the last bus goes up. I found this inconvenient.
