The full Welsh breakfasts were excellent, especially the sunny side up eggs. We also enjoyed the variety of toasted breads, and the yogurt and fresh fruits and granola, etc., offered as accompaniments. There was also a dinner menu, and we could have our evening meals at the pub instead of having to go in search of food and drink. The hostess was pleasant, and we enjoyed meeting the pub dog, Paddy.
A sunnier day would have given us a better view atop the heights of Brecon Beacons National Park on the day we visited, but the lower elevations were beautifully green and gorgeous. My son particularly liked visiting the various waterfalls.

Good breakfast. Large lounge with good seating part of room. Very clean and friendly owner. The best bit was paddy the dog that always greeted us with a big tail wag.
The toilet flush was hard work minor problem.

It had the cosy comfort of a good British pub but with modern touches that made it very livable
