Dryburgh Abbey Hotel

Location

Nothing

Everything

Very long menu. Fine trees and river views.

No grab handle at shower. Very slow drain from washhand basin. Only one seat in a double room.

We enjoyed the scenery and the closeness to the local hiking trails

Both my partner and I were discriminated against, we were moved from one breakfast room to another. The abbey room had a large group of upperclass individuals and the room we were moved too were a mix. We are working professionals looking for a relaxing weekend. We were moved Under the guise of "we would need to set this table" however when we were moved the lady had to set up our new table. We were moved from a window table to a table at a back corner. We felt embarrassed and just wanted to leave. The breakfast meals also left alot to be desired. Powdery eggs, poor tasing coffee and just a sheer lack of experience. From what we paid for this we should of gotten better.
