Perfect location to explore Matera. Beautiful cave rooms and in the middle of the Sassi with unbelievable views. We got great instructions for parking the car and good restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cave room with comfortable bed and cool cave shower! Property has a super cute courtyard and the included breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again!
Be prepared for lots of stairs to get there (but that’s just the price to pay to stay in the sassi and it is totally worth it!). Otherwise, no negatives!

The hosts are very nice and hospitable. They arranged restaurants and sightseeing tour for us. We also had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant.
The room was nice and the location very good.
