This was a perfect stay from start to finish. The room is full of charm, beautifully furnished, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It strikes the perfect balance between authenticity and modern comfort. The location couldn't be better. Situated at the bottom of the iconic Sassi, it's an ideal base for exploring Matera on foot while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was spotless, the check-in was smooth, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Matera.

Doskonała lokalizacja, można zostawić samochód na parkingu poza Sassi i dojechać autobusem, przystanek jest dwa kroki od obiektu. I jest się w spokojnej części starego miasta, wszędzie blisko. Pokój mały ale wystarczający, dodatkowo jest wspólny mały taras z widokiem na miasto. Przemiły i pomocny gospodarz, dał świetne wskazówki co do miasta i zarezerwował miejsce na kolację w bardzo dobrej restauracji. Grazie Lino!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sassolino Dimora Storica. The accommodation was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and full of character. Everything was well maintained and exactly what we hoped for during our visit to Matera. The location was excellent and made it very easy to explore the city. We especially loved the atmosphere of the property — it really added something special to our experience in Matera. The host was extremely welcoming, helpful and easy to communicate with, which made the whole stay smooth from check-in to check-out. We only stayed for one night, but we genuinely wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Matera and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

This property is in just the best location. Wonderful host and beautiful rooms. Extremely clean and tasteful. Would highly recommend!!
