Great Vacation for all!! The house was in excellent shape, with plenty of amenities and necessities to fill our needs from beach toys to kitchen aids. Elisa, the owner and Lisa, the property manager were great to work with, very minor problem taken care of immediately. Check in was a breeze and family of Grandparents, kids and grandkids, all had space and plenty of things to do. The house is beautifully decorated and well designed to meet family needs, large screen tvs in bedrooms, third floor eagles nest for grandkids, plenty of decks, and lots of room. The pool was a great added feature, cooling us from the hot Ft. Morgan days. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were plentiful to accommodate the whole family. If you need a non touristy vacation spot, with a great home that will accommodate all your beach needs. Then Big Blue is the place to be. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, fishing, and golfing in the Gulf Shore Area. I recommend highly to rent a golf cart, it made transporting people and gear to beach easy. Will definitely be back!!

Our only complaint was the ice maker wasn’t working, but we bought bags of ice. Everything else was FANTASTIC! Do recommend getting the golf cart for ease of going to the beach. We enjoyed having beach toys and pool toys there that could be used. We will definitely stay here again.

Our experience planning this vacation from start to finish was seamless. This home is just…lovely. The location is a quiet neighborhood away from all the traffic while still being a short drive to restaurants, shopping, etc… The beach is just a short (5 mins) walk away and is clean and not too crowded. Check in was a breeze. Any contact we made during our stay was by email and answered within minutes. We highly recommend!! Sorry we are leaving but look forward to coming back.

This was our second month long stay at this property. Last year we were disappointed that the pool wasn’t heated as it was chilly most our stay. Owner stated the pool would be heated by fall of 2023. Shame on me for not checking before booking for the month of March this year. Pool was not heated and owner only took action after complaining. The heater was installed during our 4th week there and it took a week to dial it in. So out of a 5 week stay we’ve able to use the pool a couple of days. Unfortunately it was as chilly if not more this year. Overall property maintenance was poor. Gas grill was destroyed and replaced after we said something. Mesh around the pool to keep the sand out was all flapping in the wind. I went out and bought zip ties and repaired myself. Board and pallets from building still laying around the property. We used some of the boards last year for a makeshift sidewalk to the pool that’s still there. Nothing permanent done. Oven door was broken but usable. Faucet fixtures loose last year are still loose along with towel fixtures in the bathroom. Also keep in mind there are 38 stair steps to get to the main living area. For us the pool heated was the big disappointment. Owner had a year to get this done and stated it would be. Again, shame on me for not confirming as we would have never booked without it. Everything considered this will be our last time at this property.
