Boardinghouse Henschelstraße

We had a wonderful stay at Boardinghouse Henschelstraße in Munich! The suite was absolutely perfect in every way—spotlessly clean, well-equipped with a small kitchen and everything we needed, and featuring a very comfortable bed. The location was excellent, close to the train station and only about 15 minutes from the city center. Check-in was easy and hassle-free, and having laundry facilities available was a great bonus. We couldn’t have asked for more and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very clean hotel with numerous amenities, including on-site laundry and a bike room for secure bike storage. The flats were a good size and match the photos. The property was kept in excellent shape. Extra towels were available. There is a grocery store next door and S-bahn stop very close by.

The kitchen was missing a few key cooking utensils and there was a lack of air circulation when the blinds were down which was necessary given the intense sun on the west side of the building.

Very clean place with polite staff. Big room, everything you need in the kitchen is here for you, there is also washing machines in the basement which is also very convenient (but please note that you will need your own washing supplies). There is also an elevator if you need it. Check in & out process is clear and fast. Also, we want to notice that when you live 7+ days here, the room cleaning will be offered and in our case this was a really perfect cleaning, the cleaning woman was very polite and patiently waited until it was convenient for us to leave the room for the cleaning. The surroundings are also nice, there is a nice park where you can walk just in 5 minutes from the hotel. The S-Bahn station is even less, like 3 minutes walk.

The only thing I need to warn about that if your room is facing railways, it’s pretty loud here with opened windows. If they are closed, you won’t hear anything.

Located near S-bahn stop giving us easy access to the city center and regional trains. Near a little market where we could get ample supplies for meals. Well equiped kitchen for making most meals. Free laundry facilities was a big plus.

The beds separated and as a couple who enjoy cuddling it wasn't great. Smoking outside would come up to our room. It would be nice to have separate areas for smokers. No receptionist every time I checked. I would have liked more coffee available.
