Runaway Bay Motor Inn

The location was great for the activity we were attending. The room was large and spacious. Good on site parking.

The bed was shocking. Incredibly soft with hollows in the middle for both of us. My wife has had to have professional treatment since spending 3 nights (sleeping top to tale) on this shocking bed. Mattresses need replacing. Wifi - non existent. Difficult to log in and it dropped out as soon as you did log in, if you could. We specifically booked this place as it said it had good Wifi. No, it didn't. Cutulery and crockery - very light on. The bare min was available. 2 x knife, folk, spoon, plates. 4 of each is not too much. I suggest you bring your own.

The room had enough space. There was a small desk, that I used (with power points). The beds were clean. The room was tidy. The motel is not too far from shops to buy breakfast things, and such.

About 4 light bulbs need replacing. There was no instruction book for the appliances, WIFI password. The key holder on the inside of the door to use the power points was broken. The towels were quite thin.

Classic 80s style inside but clean and comfortable. Bathroom has been renovated.

Great location, big rooms

Place is a bit dated and under staffed, therefore lots of maintenance and little things were wrong, i.e no working light in bathroom, ice tray in fridge iced over so unuseable...
