While the property was clean, it looked a little outdated but, to us, all the HIG properties look the same. Other than that our room was very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat in the area and DoorDash was available. Avoid the Golden Corral just down the street from the hotel. It is awful! It’s dirty and expensive with a minimally attentive staff.

To be honest, when I turned down the bed in our original room, there were a few baby spiders crawling around. I notified Grace, the agent at the front desk, and she immediately offered us another room. I appreciated this because she didn’t just make us wait while they changed the bed linen.

The staff person (Angel) was very friendly and helpful. Quick check in and helpful letting us know where the things we were looking for were located. Pool area was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety.
