Very unique stay in the castle. Treated like royalty! Excellent breakfast and outstanding staff from front reception to restaurant. Felt very welcome and embraced by local hospitality. Would highly recommend! A+

Highlight of our trip! Don’t forget to call ahead for info on free parking and shuttle (you can’t drive inside the castle walls to the hotel ).

We stayed in the castle 3 years ago and this was the only place on our return trip to Portugal that we had to revisit. We stayed in a suite this time and loved it. Bed is a bit short though. Breakfast is included and is totally worth it. Plenty of selections.
