The free breakfast is more than enough for a good day out and the staff are really friendly

A very clean and adequately appointed room.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and well stocked. Included breakfast was excellent, and staff very accommodating. We were able to order packed lunch for day out.
Evening meals in dining room very good, and beer selection extensive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at The Fox & Hounds, Breakfast was excellent, hot and quickly served, but we were very grateful for 2 chairs, i.e. 1 each, in the bedroom. So many hotels, even expensive, posh ones only supply 1 chair, so one member of a couple has to sit on the bed or prop against the dressing table. Well done Fox & Hounds.
