Secrets Aura Cozumel - Adults Only - All Inclusive

The overall experience was great. The staff were really great and the activities group were a lot of fun. Food was good. Our rooms were updated - but we didn’t have working TVs and the phones for room service were hit or miss. The fridge in our room also didn’t work. While the food was good, that was in the off chance a restaurant was open. On Saturday 1 of the 5 restaurants were open. We were there for diving and relaxation and we did just that. Just a few minor things would’ve elevated it a bit ☺️

The only thing I would suggest is to have building numbers so you can find your room. Other than that it was excellent. Staff at front concierge and the bars and restaurant were excellent.

Paid for Preferred Club for premium extras like upgraded bath amenities which have always been one main reason we upgrade. The Hydro therapy was another. We were told the upgrade bath amenities are no linger available even though the Hyatt Secrets web page still how them and our itinerary did as well. We were told we did not pay for hydro therapy and could not get it for free. It took going to the preferred club lounge and talking to the receptionist to finally get the session. Resort is in decline from our last visit in 2022. Toilet leaked. IN room safe quite twice in three days. Room walls and woodwork show years of use and sloppy patchwork. Food variety and quality were less than 2022. Restaurants are not open every day so we had to use a quirky hotel app to see which restaurants were open on which days. Hotel staff like Salvador and the waiters were very helpful and accommodating. Secrets brand has declined. At least in Cozumel. Not sure if that coincides with Hyatt taking over. Dreams resort next door, appeared be the premiere place. No longer Secrets.
